Translators Foreword
In the Name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful. Praise to Allah, the High and the Mighty and Salawaat on His Chosen Messenger, Muhammad al-Mustafa (s) and his Progeny, the Ahle Bayt � who were created from the same effulgence (Noor) as that of the Messenger of Allah (s).
By the Grace of Allah and blessings of Imam Mahdi (a), we present herewith the English translation of Mikyal al Makarim Fee Fawaaid ad-Duaa Lil Qaaim, by the great scholar, Ayatullah Sayyid Muhammad Taqi Musawi Isfahani (r).
This book was written on the recommendation of the Imam of the Age (a) himself as the readers will learn in the Author�s Preface.
The main subject matter of the book is �Benefits of Praying for the Imam of our time�. But it has introductory chapters dealing with the importance of recognizing the Imam, his specialties and the proofs of his Imamate etc. The later chapters are concerned with the best times and methods of praying for Imam (a) and lastly the author has provided a comprehensive section on the duties of the Shias towards the Imam of their time.
The book in your hand is the translation of first volume. Readers are requested to pray that it may be followed by the translation of the second volume as well, since it also contains many important topics, which would bring to the readers
